Mavic 2 Enterprise - What if I Already Have a Mavic 2 Zoom/Pro?

In the past DJI have claimed that their Professional products are modular, but customers have been disappointed when they find out their older drone parts are now useless, for example batteries, propellers, cameras, gimbals and chargers of the Inspire 1 were not at all compatible with the Inspire 2, and all new cameras released for the Inspire 2  were not backwards compatible with the Inspire 1.
Customers were also disgruntled when their consumer drone parts cannot be used to reduce the cost of upgrading to a professional level drone - none of the Phantom 4 accessories, camera, remote controller etc could be used to reduce the cost of upgrading to an Inspire 1 / 2.

Now thankfully that's changed with the Mavic 2 Enterprise, here we have almost every single component, accessory, and filter that's compatible with the Mavic 2 Zoom, can also be used with the Mavic 2 Enterprise, and vice versa.

This means, not only can you use the batteries from your Mavic 2 Zoom/Pro on your new Enterprise, but if you want the cool feature of the self heating battery for below freezing flight on your Mavic 2 Zoom/Pro it's as simple as buying the self heating battery! The only Caveat being the Spotlight, Speaker and Beacon for the Enterprise are not compatible with the Mavic 2 Zoom/Pro

A table summary of the basic specs of popular drones, click through and select the specification on each listing for more info. From this info we can see the Mini 2 is the best value drone with it's 3 axis 4k camera at only £549. The H520E being the best value inspection drone with 180x zoom. The Splashdrone 4 at £2598 being a must have if you plan to fly close to water or in medium to heavy rain as not even the M300 at £10,500+ offers close to the same IP protection. The Mavic 3 comes in strong in video quality and battery life with the 2nd highest resolution at 5.1k but 50 FPS vs the Mavic A..

Hi Harold Unfortunately not, the Mavic 2 is an all in one system, the camera, software etc are all tied to that machine. The camera is not modular, Only when you get to the more expensive drones such as the Inspire 2 or Matrice series do you get modular cameras, though when the Phantom 5 comes out there's a small chance they'd go modular there.
